I consider myself a teacher by essence, taking it after my Father who was himself an outstanding and inspirational Maths teacher.
It all started with helping friends and family members with Maths problem, before opening a center at an early age due to an enormous demand. That is when I knew teaching was my calling, having a natural and innate ability to make knowledge easy to understand, with a great creative spirit to connect it with real life scenarios; inspiring and motivating anybody to love learning with me.

Tutoring Experience

Having completed a number of core training surrounding the art of teaching, I am very glad to consider myself an expert in the field, delivering a first class service at a premium rate.

I am QTS/PGCE Qualified Maths teacher, delivering the highest quality and very sought Maths achievements at a top flight academy at the heart on London. I must mentioned that my expertise comes from my international learning experience (French Masters degrees) and longstanding experience in tutoring, enabling me to have an expert eye in adapting and enriching the british curriculum within my teaching

I specialise in GCSE preparation, 11+ as well as concerning cases, delivering the highest quality of one-to-one tutoring. My enthusiasm and drive allows my students to view me not only as their subject tutor, but as a role model, friend and ultimately someone who will take a genuine interest in their learning and aspirations.

I currently hold over 18 years of teaching/tutoring experience under my hat, having taught thousands of students now thriving within our economy, making themselves, their parents and communities very proud.
Each year brings fantastic results and I am yet to have a student dissatisfied with their progress. I do not provide 'quantitative' evidence of my tutoring success, as I don't believe this reflects the full extent of my work; each student has their own goal and individual potential, whether it be to reach a pass or a 90%+ score.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is student-centered, taking into account his personality, his way of thinking, level of innate motivation and connection between the subject and his life interest. The school learning environment,l teacher/current and past experiences are also taken into account. His response to praises, appreciation, pride in himself and determination towards his goals are also evaluated through carefully designed and psychological diagnostic.

Then comes student's circle of influence, with Parents at the heart of it. I find that parents play a key role in the support structure of any child, and therefore I like to include them as much as they feel they can, to ensure the best possible outcome. I create a tailored programme for each student, in which progress is monitored to allow parents to be a part of the tuition process. I do this with care, compassion and positivity, and take pride in catering for individual student needs.

Students relationship with their friends can also greatly impact them and their journey to greatness, which therefore needs monitoring.

After knowing the students in-depth, I focus on building a good Teacher to student relationship, crucial for a conducive learning environment.

This helps me assessing my students, designing and planning their bespoke tuition sessions and start the learning journey constantly monitoring the learning happening in school and how it's taught, providing additional explanation and knowledge in line with the curriculum, in order to support their short term memory , retrieve, build and secure their long term memorie knowledge for foreseeable examinations and tests.
I carried regular and timed assessments to verified my students knowledge and provide proven exam and time management technics I personally developed throughout my years of experience.

I use Past, predicted papers and carefully selected intelligent questioning to help my students deepening their critical thinking, making great progress over time.

I have completed the following CPD courses:

QTS/PGCE in secondary Education

Safeguarding level 2 (OFSTED accredited)

Diploma in Mental health.

I have experience with special needs, and completed courses with the British Dyslexia Association including dyslexia, dyspraxia, discalculia and dysgraphia.

I also run half-term and holiday courses which are usually taken in groups of 4 or 5 and are always popular. These also work out cheaper for everyone and work well in groups of friends.
I have a work phone and dedicated WhatsApp where I communicate with parents and students (secondary only) in groups and individually to help with homework and check in throughout the week. This is all done free of charge and is part of the overall service I provide.

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy, and a one-month discontinuation policy either side if tuition is terminated.
