WHO AM I?
I am a first class PhD student in Mathematics studying Mathematics and I am an Italian native speaker (originally from Milan). I have an Enhanced DBS check, which I can provide upon request.
I am able to perform tutoring ONLINE, from the comfort of your home, for a little help. I love teaching and being useful!!
I have been helping students with their learning since 2015!

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
I'm not just a tutor, I also offer a 1-1 a mentoring scheme.

I mainly offer help with Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, Coding (Python, Matlab and C++), Italian and Latin (proofreading, grammar, speaking, writing, literature and authors... not to repeat myself, but I am an enthusiastic native speaker! Italian is my first language, so do fell free to ask me about anything!). It helps that I am a polymath!!

FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS:
I trained as a teacher working in schools (just didn't have time to officially my PGCE yet!) and YEARS 9-13 are my forte. I have experience creating and setting worksheets tailored to any exam board your school may be registered with, but do not hesitate to ask me anything out of the ordinary!

FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS:
Pure Maths is my strength (Number Theory PhD student here!), but I must admit that I have a week spot for CRYPTOLOGY (what I would like to work on as a Post-Doc) and for Computer Science.
Having undertaken a Maths degree myself (MSci), I perfectly understand the struggles of the situation, therefore feel free to contact me if you need help with a little theory, or just with getting started with HOMEWORK and COURSEWORK.

Tutoring Approach

HOW ARE MY TEACHING SESSIONS?
In my teaching sessions I make learning enjoyable, PROFESSIONALLY FUN & INTERACTIVE.
My style of teaching is flexible, giving me the ability to tailor my tutoring schedule to my students needs. For KS3s, GCSEs, A Levels and Degrees (exams, coursework and resists), I focus strongly on specifications giving me and the student the opportunity to cover every element of the syllabus, maximising understanding and exam success.
Also, I have great experience in preparing students for university admissions (Oxbridge,...)

I also love programming and I have a Microsoft MTA Python certification. I offer help to work with anything regarding programming in MATLAB, PYTHON and C++. Other languages are welcome too!

I think that the main difference between me and any other tutor is that I plan every lesson in advance and I put so much attentions to every detail so that I can make students' money completely worth the cost of our lessons!!! This is why before arranging any lesson I always ask my students to tell me in advance the topics they would like to talk about during the actual lesson. I got feedback from my students saying that they've always felt that our lessons were efficiently planned!!! I also always share with my students notes from the lesson and/or Google Docs to make them improve even more!!
