I’m a qualified secondary school French and Spanish teacher. I am head of the Modern Foreign languages department in my school. I was born and raised in France and am therefore native to the language and culture. I have experience working as a GCSE examiner.
I really enjoy sharing my passion for languages and the cultures associated to my dual heritages. Also I am keen to share the critical thinking and the problem solving skills to different abilities and age groups. I can describe myself as being a lifelong learner, organised, inquisitive and rigorous person. Additionally I hold a Bachelor degree in materials sciences from the Université of Paris Diderot.

Tutoring Experience

I had developed my skills in helping people academically since my secondary school where I would support my friends and my sibling.

During university I joined a tutoring agency where I was helping secondary school students in maths, English, chemistry and physics.
I joined a part-time role for 2 years as an English tutor in a primary school.
Then I decided to take the big jump and move to England. I worked in various schools as a MFL graduate in different school settings.

I am currently teaching French to GCSE groups (KS4) and KS3 students in the East midlands (Leicester) alongside with Spanish.
Being a French native and having studied science at university have opened many amazing opportunities hence I am also offering also chemistry, biology , physics and maths lessons. I have been tutoring these subjects in France to primary and secondary pupils alongside A level students.

Tutoring Approach

Each lesson will be tailored to your child’s needs and will help your child progress in their learning and understanding. This will in turn help build their confidence in the subject, which I am sure will reflect well in their school.
I am passionate about both teaching and learning, therefore I believe that my enthusiasm will benefit your child’s results and encourage a positive engagement.
I am also offering small group tutoring at reduced price, up to 4 learners to be organised between the learners themselves.
