I'm an English teacher with over 20 years of experience, mainly as a primary school teacher, as well as a private 1:1 tutor for Maths, English and 11+ testing. As a professional, my main focus has been developing my teaching skills and methods that would help each learner achieve their desired outcome.
My teaching career is based on an academic diploma in teaching English as a foreign language but over time due to changes in personal circumstances, it progressed into teaching and supporting individual learners. I consider teaching individual students my true passion and I find it extremely rewarding. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor acrivities such as sightseeing, hiking, walks in the wild and sports. I have recently found a new passion - gardening.

Tutoring Approach

I believe individual approach to a learner is the key to successful teaching. There is nothing more important than finding the right way to target the needs then support it with understanding, patience, friendly & professional attitude and creativity. We teachers often say that there is nothing too difficult, it is just about finding a suitable method that works for each individual learner. And this is my job. Finding the right way/method to help, support and strengthen confidence together with independence.
