Harrison's Feedback

As a parent who spent a considerable amount of time with my daughter researching, evaluating suitability and choosing a Maths A-Level Tutor, we could not be happier with Harry.
The impact he has had was more than we could have hoped for, taking our 17 year old daughter from a Maths Mock result of a 'D' at the end of Y12 when we started working with Harry, to a Maths Mock result after the Summer of an 'A'!
The confidence in the subject that Harry has been able to give her in such a short time has given her such an amazing boost when she really needed it.
Being naturally able to quickly build trust, and to understand where the areas of focus were needed, he created an honest and open dialogue with her that had a huge impact to her academically, and also in her self-belief at such a critical stage.
She talks about how interactive, passionate and involving Harry’s teaching style is, with great understanding of her exam board content and tailored material he creates specifically to support her.
She has asked us to continue her tutor sessions with Harry throughout Y13 to get the 'A' grade she wants, which from an initially unlikely starting point is truly amazing!
Harry is extremely personable, giving us considered, open and honest feedback in our conversations, which helps so much in understanding our daughters needs so we can support her where she needs it.

I am so pleased that I contacted Harrison to help my son with his IGCSE Maths. It was hard to get my son inspired to study but from the first lesson with Harrison I saw a massive change. Homework was done every week and he even looked forward to his lessons with Harrison. He gained a lot of confidence which for me was the most important to see and we have Harrison to thank for that and the great IGCSE grade!! Could not recommend him more!

Without Harry our som WOULD NOT have passed his second retake!! He went from a three in his original exam, to a two in his first retake, then with Harrys help he just got a four!!!!
This wouldn’t have happened without him, he really managed to get him to engage and understand it!

Would highly recommend Harrison as GCSE Maths and Further Maths tutor. Really helped my son gain confidence tackling harder questions before sitting the exam and will be continuing with Harrison for A level support.

My son has received support from Harrison for the past year or so - and has benefited so much from Harrison's guidance. Harrison is very patient, great at explaining concepts, and extremely positive, it's been such a confidence boost! His grades at school in maths have markedly improved since Harrison's intervention. Harry is a fabulous tutor. He is calm and patient, taking time to explain things to my son in a way that that he understands. Most importantly, he makes lessons fun and interactive. My son has gained enormous confidence in his maths thanks to Harry and is on track to do well at GCSE as a result.

Harry has been amazing with my 10yr old boy! He has made maths fun again for him, when he really had no interest at all. He went with his pace but also pushed him to get the best from him. Having Harry for several months before he took his SATS made the whole experience way less stressful for my boy. He wasn’t worried and felt more confident in himself going into it. I couldn’t recommend Harry enough! My boy actually looks forward to him coming round for his lesson now, which I never thought I’d see!

I am so pleased that we were put in contact with Harrison . My daughter was in the second year of IB maths and feeling very under confident. He has enabled her to take her exams feeling quietly confident - a big turnaround from feeling like she was going to fail.

Harrison was an extremely approachable dedicated teacher to my daughter. She felt very at ease with him, he would explains things well and if she didn't, understand it he would go over it.
What else can I say, he's a great teacher & a nice person!

A very encouraging, positive and patient tutor. Was very good at explaining and showing how to break down and make maths easier for my son, in order to give him a better understanding and help build his confidence of how to get the answers.
