Fantastic, Heather is great at building a relationship with my child, she is a great teacher and lovely person. She know s the current curriculum for exams and has helped my child fulfil her potential so far.

Heather worked extremely hard to get my daughter to where she needed to be in time for her Higher History exam. She got an A and couldn't have done this without Heather.

Heather was an absolute delight in helping us. Although my daughter went in a different direction, Heather took the time to discuss and assist her in the difficult decisions to be made in 6th year. Elizabeth has a quite fantastic understanding of her subject and she made it so interesting for our daughter that she WANTED to learn. Elizabeth's passion for the subject has resulted in our daughter now having, I think, a lifelong interest in the subject. As well as making it so interesting, Elizabeth knows how to guide her students to doing well in the exams. The perfect tutor!

I find Heather to be a really professional , but someone you can easily connect with which makes your learning better. My grades were so bad and I was on my way to a catesteophic fail however in just one lesson she managed to get me through my prelim with a c and is now pushing me on towards an A in May . I would highly recommend heather for anyone studying English.

Our son was struggling with first 3-4 months of Nat 5. Elizabeth started tutoring him in December and really helped his preparation for prelim in Jan.

Teacher at school had our son as "C" grade but with Elizabeth's guidance, she made English easier to understand.

Our son has built a good relationship with Elizabeth and she knows his strengths and weaknesses.

Delighted that our son received an "A" in his Nat 5 exam - genuinely do not believe this could have been achieved without Elizabeth!

We have retained Elizabeth for Higher in 5th year - only regret is that with hindsight, we should have made an earlier decision to hire Elizabeth!!!

My daughter has only had the pleasure of Elizabeths excellent tutorial skills for 4 months. In this time my daughter has improved in leaps and bounds. Lessons are well structured and homework regularly assigned. Elizabeth is always to hand for any questions between lessons by phone and email. My daughter has now sat her exam and came out extremely confident of a good pass. My child has gone from having no confidence in herself with the subject of English, to someone who now shows eagerness in this subject. I would highly recommend this tutor to anyone as she really knows how to engage with her pupils and convey her vast knowledge of English. Many thanks.

My daughter was written off by her primary school teachers as a child who will always struggle with spelling. I frequently raised concerns about her poor spelling and was consistently told that she works really hard and to the best of her ability. I was advised that a personal tutor would not help by her former Head Teacher. Thankfully, I finally sought the expertise of Elizabeth! After only a few short weeks my daughter can not only spell many common words but has been learning words I never thought possible. Elizabeth challenges her in every lesson, making it fun and adapting to suit Sarah's interests and progress. We have a long way to go to get my daughter up to the level she should be at but I'm sure with Elizabeth's help we can get there. I cannot recommend Elizabeth highly enough and am hoping that a fraction of Elizabeth's passion for the English language will rub off on Sarah!

Excellent tutor. My son has received so much information from her in such a short space of time. She has been focusing on basic English skills such as vocabulary and close reading and boosting his confidence in discussing structure and punctuation. He really has a much clearer idea of what is expected of him in the exam. She gives much needed critical and helpful feedback on work done. You can't ask for more than that!

Robbie has noticed a difference already with the areas he was struggling with. Although he has had to drop down a level in his English - decided prior to meeting Elizabeth - he can already see an improvement. He had to sit a test at Int 2 level and got an A! He receives constructive comments which he has taken on board and also homework which he does before meeting her. I am really happy so far with his progress and would definitely use Elizabeth again next year if he starts to struggle with his Higher English.

Elizabeth is an excellent tutor, clearly passionate about her subject and is most certainly helping Michael in the areas that he struggles most with.

I am very pleased with Elizabeth tutoring my daughter for her highers. She is very enthuastic and reliable. My daughter is actually starting to enjoy english for the very first time.
