Adaptable and easy going, always willing to help the student. I believe a large part of Maths is understanding the question and I look to find the best way of explaining it and simplifying the problem. Maths is also visual and building a picture in one’s mind and spotting patterns all helps. Teach SATs and GCSE Maths (KS2, KS3, KS4).
I have experience with tutoring children and have received positive feedback from parents. My own background is a combination of Maths, Art and Design all with grade A’s at A Level plus an honours degree in Industrial Design.
I like to tailor the lessons to suit the individual needs, finding ways to explain and demonstrate the subject. Easy-going and patient I like to see things from the student's side. I have text books and past papers as a resource from which to draw upon and to ensure the curriculum is covered. Trying to create those penny dropping moments.
