Personal Description:

¡Hola! I’m Carla, a passionate language teacher who loves helping students gain confidence and joy in speaking Spanish. With over 25 of teaching experience—working with students from beginners to advanced speakers—I’ve taught in both classroom settings and one-on-one, helping learners prepare for exams, travel, work, and personal enrichment.

Teaching Experience:

I have extensive experience teaching Spanish up to A Level and French up to GCSE in the UK, supporting students in achieving strong exam results while building real-world communication skills.

Teaching Approach:

My lessons balance solid grammar foundations with interactive reading, writing, speaking and listening practice, helping learners feel confident and prepared. I am constantly updating my knowledge of different exam boards and exam paper formats. I enjoy teaching students of all abilities and learning styles, and have wide experience teaching neurodivergent students both in the classroom and tutoring settings.
