I contacted Jakob because I was applying to my dream job in Copenhagen and wanted to show that I was committed and wanted to start learning danish ahead of time. In the end I got the job, and for a couple of months until I actually settled in Copenhagen I had about 10-12 skype lessons one on one with him. He was an excellent teacher, adapting the lessons to my needs and my learning speed, and focusing on the areas that I struggled more when needed. He was always super positive with all my little advances, which made the classes really motivating and happy :) And now that I'm about to start intense danish classes here in Copenhagen, I took a test and got to skip 6 weeks ahead and go straight to level A2 instead of starting at the beginning, so I couldn't be more pleased!
