I am a full time teacher who enjoys sharing a passion for and expertise in my subject area. I want my learners to be able to reach their grades in specific examinations, but also to enjoy the subject for the reason they chose it in the first place.
I have over 25 years secondary teaching experience (PGCE in RE) teaching RS/Theology/Philosophy/Ethics at GCSE and A Level, I teach from the OCR and Eduqas and AQA syllabus. I teach any areas and whilst I specialise in Christianity/Buddhism/Islam I also teach other major world religions to a high level. I have been an OCR examiner for GCSE and A Level Religious Studies. I also teach the A Level EPQ and would be happy to explain the qualification if required.
I have an excellent appreciation of the needs of learners, including Dyslexia and Autism. I have great rapport with my students and I believe in teaching content alongside skills. Please contact me for further information and an informal no obligation discussion regarding your learning needs.
