I've been a qualified science teacher/tutor, teaching GCSE and A Level for over 10 years. I'm fun and very passionate about my subjects. I like making learning engaging, even the most dull topic, I aim to make it enjoyable! I love teaching and spending time with my students.
I have an undergraduate degree in medical science and a masters degree in microbiology. I also have a degree in teaching/PGCE
I have been a secondary science teacher in Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent. I taught Science GCSE and Biology and Chemistry A Level. I have had the opportunity to teach and tutor various exam boards due to my teaching and vast tutoring experience. I have taught every exam board UK and International.
I love teaching and have tutored and mentored since I was in school and throughout university. I divide lesson time between learning material and exam techniques. Achieving good grades is no longer about what you know but how it is presented. This is a major priority of the sciences.
I focus on material by appealing to a student's passions. If I can relate a topic that a student is struggling with to something they're interested in, they are able to grasp the material more successfully.
I'm very invested in making sure my students achieve the best that they can.
