I love teaching and enjoy tutoring children. Tutoring enables me to give children the 1:1 or 1:2 support they may need to eliminate any misconceptions, assess learning areas that may need reinforcement and most importantly aid progression. I currently teach in a school in Plympton and tutor for the NTP.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 17 years, 4 years in London and 13 years in Plymouth. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and have references available from happy parents and previous employers. I am happy to tutor for small groups of children for a discount.

Tutoring Approach

An initial discussion with parents, this is a good chance for you to ask me any questions and a chance for me to get an idea of what your childs needs are. Parents are then welcome to make a home visit if they wish (off street parking available), this is only for parents who want their child to be tutored from my home, this can also be a good chance for you to introduce your child to me and see if they feel comfortable. The first lesson will then involve a discussion with your child about what they feel they need help with. Followed by some activities to see how I can support their learning.
