Tutoring Experience

I am a 24-year-old graduate from the University of Bristol with 5 years of tutoring experience. I have experience working as a Data Scientist and have won a variety of awards for my work within Maths (UKMT Senior National Maths, Commendation in the British Physics Olympiad, Dean's Commendation for Academic Performance, Colonel L C King-Wilkinson Memorial Scholarship, John McAlpine Prize for Academic Excellence). I was awarded A*A*A in my A-Levels for Maths, Further Maths and Physics and achieved a Master's in Mathematical Economics

Tutoring Approach

I regularly give hour-long lessons on Maths for ages 11 to 18 - having tutored a range of students, both domestic and foreign. I take a student-led approach, finding what works for each individual, be it working through a range of exercises or explaining the theory in depth. I have tutored all levels for 5 years now, working with my local Grammar School, charities and University Societies. My lessons are for everyone, with no issue being too big or too small. I make custom lessons for each student and like to maintain a good relationship with each candidate. Having worked with charities in the past I have also been trained on safeguarding.
