Hello there! my name is Zahir and I'm a Medical Student studying at King’s College London. I have always been passionate about my studies, with Maths & the Sciences being my strongest subjects. With this knowledge at hand, I am keen to tutor those who would like a helping hand to guide them to success on their academic journeys and ultimately reach their goals.

Tutoring Experience

During my time at sixth form, I regularly tutored students in lower years who struggled on core subjects. Through providing substantial guidance on how to tackle the content and advice on beneficial study techniques, I overlooked their studying journeys and progressively watched their grades rise to the ones they needed. It was my help and style of teaching that aided this process, which they were all grateful for. With this in mind, I am confident that I can transfer my tailored approach to students on first tutors.

As I myself have completed GCSE's & A-Level's under the new syllabus, I am fully aware of the changes made to the specification and can assure students that I can show them how to tackle the new style of exam questions effectively.
As I've been operating as an independent, self-advertised private tutor for over 2 years, I'm well experienced with teaching students at various different stages of their academic journeys and able to teach students of many different abilities

Tutoring Approach

I go through Past Paper Questions with students, having them show me their working via an Online Whiteboard. The questions they find difficult, I go through with them, step by step, on my own Whiteboard so that they can see what I am doing as well as hear what I'm saying.

I usually have my lessons 1-2hrs long and have lessons up to 3x a week. However, I am flexible to change and able to adapt to the student's needs so that they get the most of my sessions.
