Qualified Maths teacher with over 30 years’ experience teaching a wide range of students from secondary school through to university postgraduate level. I am an enthusiastic, dedicated and caring tutor.
Based in the Camberley & Frimley area, I have tutored students from Tomlinscote, Collingwood, Gordons, SJB, Woking High, Winston Churchill and many independent schools.
In recent years, I have taught Mathematics to all ability sets in Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level year groups. I am also experienced working with able (Gifted & Talented) students, as well as those that have SEN and EAL status.
Highly experienced with various Exam Board specifications (including Edexcel, AQA, OCR both GCSE and iGCSE), as well as an Examiner (Specialist Marking) for GCSE Mathematics.
I am DBS checked.
As a tutor, nothing is more rewarding and enjoyable than helping students grasp new concepts, gain in knowledge and confidence, and see them develop their academic potential.
My tutoring style is highly supportive, tailoring individual learning plans for every tutee based upon their needs. I believe that every student can learn and make progress no matter what their ability.
Although I also offer on-line tuition, I generally prefer face to face lessons - as they can often provide faster identification of any misconception and appropriate help.
