Passionate English teacher who motivates her students to achieve their full potential, in KS3 English or GCSE English exams, through a variety of learning strategies. I'm enthusiastic about enhancing and improving students' strengths, as well as working to overcome perceived obstacles and challenges. I teach AQA GCSE English Language and Literature.

Tutoring Experience

Secondary school English teacher, currently teaching Year 7 through to Year 11. Experience in teaching a variety of KS3 English modules and GCSE AQA Language and Literature, texts including, Macbeth, Jekyll and Hyde, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls and Power and conflict poetry.

Tutoring Approach

I use a variety of learning strategies, such as, model answers, extended writing practice, creative tasks, depending on students' individual feedback, targets and needs. If pupils would like to focus on honing a particular skill or prefer to use a particular strategy, I'm more than happy to also provide this as part of the lesson.
