Hi, I'm Warren. I'm a BSc Psychology student in my final year. I'm passionate about Psychology and receive first class grades. My dissertation investigated the ability of ultrasound to create mid-air holograms, which are felt against the skin upon touch eg a virtual button that can turn music on or off and adjust the volume. I was interested in the psychological top-down processes involved in the sense of touch.
A Research Assistant position at LJMU gave me the opportunity to work in a cutting edge psychology lab, producing empirical research. My essays and lab reports gain some of the highest first class grades. I'm passionate about statistical analysis of data and enjoy analysing my own dataset. I am proficient in SPSS and R.
I am also a qualified Mountain Leader and love rock climbing and running.
I was encouraged by my peers at university to become a tutor as I spent my spare time helping others to grasp statistics, editing and suggesting improvements for their essays, dissertations and lab studies. My enthusiasm and relaxed attitude provided an environment that they were easily able to understand the content.
I'm very calm and relaxed, providing an environment that you feel confident to ask questions and chat in a relaxed conversation to understand the topic content. I like to start covering a topic with the absolute basics and build on this to a more complex and nuanced perspective.
I can share my tips and tricks on essay and exam planning, help you prepare lab reports or teach you specific topics.
