Vik

I'm Vik, a second year Chemistry student at the University of Warwick with about a year of experience in teaching.
I'm passionate about helping students learn and understand difficult concepts in Chemistry because not too long ago, I struggled a little with the subject myself.
Going from a D at AS-Level (Y12) to an A* at A-Level (Y13), I understand what it takes to maximise your potential in Chemistry and get the grade you desire, hence I believe I'm capable of teaching students of all abilities.

Tutoring Experience

I started tutoring Chemistry last year to 8 children coming from lower-funded schools as part of the National Tutoring Programme.
All 8 students achieved (or exceeded) their target grades:
1 achieved an A* (proceeded to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge), 4 achieved As and 3 achieved Bs.

Tutoring Approach

I intend to offer high-quality teaching to my students for any topic they wish to learn by explaining concepts with written notes, diagrams, real-life application, past-paper questions, and a little stretch and challenge at the end if appropriate.
