I am a passionate and dedicated individual who loves teaching. I’m currently working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and my favourite subject to teach is Maths!
I have over 12 years experience teaching in primary schools. I currently teach a variety of subjects to year groups 3-6, including English and maths. I have experience working with children with additional needs and also with children from difficult backgrounds.
I believe that learning should be fun! I like to focus on the pupils’ strengths and weaknesses as I can therefore adapt my lessons to meet the needs and requirements of that pupil. Making my lessons fun creates a positive atmosphere in which pupils would WANT to learn and it also helps build a rapport. I’m really confident in my ability and therefore am willing to offer a trial lesson for free!
