Vidya is amazing! She is extremely knowledgable, patient, kind and genuinely cares about getting the best for your child - not only academically but also supporting us in encouraging my daughter to look after herself properly during exam time.

We purchased a block booking and have subsequently booked more. My daughter was on for a 6 at English language in her February mocks and in the short space of a month or two Vidya has helped bring this to potentially an 8 or beyond! Parent communication is great too.

Thank you Thao, it’s a pleasure to work with L. I rather enjoy her inquisitive nature, she a confident young lady too.
I do not think I’ve ever had a lesson with L, where we’ve never used images to describe a sequence involving biology matters as well as using revision notes/past exam papers to embed these concepts. It shows a genuine interest for the subject too. L’ works extremely hard and nothing is ever too much for her. I’m very proud of her in her approach to learning and how she maintains her high grades in all her subjects including Science and English especially when sitting above 7’s . She is truly incredible with the way she adapts. I believe L’s determination will not only secure her GCSEs and A-levels she wants but also go onto a very recognised University later in life.

V has been a tremendous help to our daughter in Year 9 (aged 13) who has suffered with maths anxiety for many years. She immediately put our daughter at ease and very quickly identified the best way to teach her to support her personality and learning style. V has focussed on increasing her confidence, general maths skills and preparation for GCSE maths. Vidya has been supporting our son in the run-up to his GCSEs.

We had a great feeling about Vidya as soon as we met her during the free assessment she offers, and from the many positive reviews that we had read.

The experience has definitely lived up to expectations. Vidya quickly formed a great relationship with our son and has ended up supporting him across the Sciences, Maths and English after initially only reaching out for support with Chemistry and Maths

We have felt confident enough to leave it to our son and Vidya to organise between them when lesson best fit, and she has moved her diary around during the exam period so that she can provide specific tutoring on the night before exams which has been a welcome change form our son just studying alone.

In our case, the tutoring was to support an already highly motivated , well organised student, giving him the extra bit of exam coaching, bespoke tutoring and support to reach his best potential in his GCSEs.

Thank you ever so much for leaving a review. I feel your comments have been very generous. Working with J was an absolute pleasure, his lessons went seamless, and I also believe this is because of him.
J has a can do attitude and he is always jovial, it helps when the student is motivated and goes the extra mile. He has one of those personas which makes him versatile and he is willing to adapt and carry out further research, revision once the lesson has finished. Nothing was too much trouble for J, he is very driven. Very rare I come across a student who has all the above characteristics.

I’ve worked with a number of of students over the years, and he is a gem. He’s never late on purpose, he will let me know if he is struggling, additionally keeps all communication levels open and finally utilises the times he has but values my input.

Paying for tuition for our children is a expensive and luxury item for most, he has never wasted any of his lessons or not shown up. I also believe that J is grateful to you for giving him this opportunity to thrive and close minor gaps due to confidence levels .

Honestly … whoever J has in Further Education will be lucky to have him in their classroom.

Vidya seems wonderful and empathetic and her approach seems like it would work with other people; it's just not something that works with me.

Vidya has extremely detailed notes that she presents **E-mail Address Removed**doc format (you type whilst she speaks). These notes are impressive and may really help you! However personally I don't have enough time to go through content with extreme detail which isn't necessary for my A level biology specification.

On the upper note, Vidya offers a free consultation session so you are able to determine whether you are compatible. There are also discounts for block booking which is helpful financially.

Vidya is an amazing tutor that I would highly recommend. Vidya started tutoring my son at the end of year 10 on English and in a short period of time she has helped him grow in knowledge and confidence and I can see him being very successful in his GCSEs at the end of year 11. I searched through many Tuition websites reading the credentials of tutor's trying to find who I felt would be the best tutor for my son. I'm extremely happy that I came across Vidya's profile and she is tutoring my son for Maths GCSE.
Where do I start;
Vidya understood my sons nature from our initial online meeting ( all tution has been online due to the pandemic) She made him feel relaxed and picked up on his learning requirements. Her nurturing side and ability to explain complex maths questions is fantastic. She is always a message away when my son needs to ask her anything he doesn't understand. Vidya has helped tremendously to build my sons confidence in maths. I have seen how much he is progressed with a few months. A young boy who once dreaded maths, is now breaking down his fear barriers of the subject.

I can honestly say it’s been an incredible journey and I know we started last year (2020) so that he would be exam ready for 2021. I’ve seen an individual grow with confidence and I’m very proud of his determination, resilience and his work ethos. It has not been an easy journey however, with the support from his parents and myself I feel we’ve managed to mirror the school’s Curriculum and this has shown a positive correlation in regards to producing and receiving the desired grades.

The skills he has gained will enable him to transfer this into ‘Post 16’ subjects. He’s has shown he can do this in a number of ways. Vidya has been tutoring my daughter for the past 3 months since she started secondary school and has really helped with the transition from primary to secondary. She is well prepared for her lessons with good relevant material, puts thought into tailoring the lessons for individual needs and takes time to explaining key concepts to my daughter.

As well as her obvious technical competency it is apparent that Vidya genuinely cares about her students and her approach is a very caring/nurturing one so the pupil very quickly feels comfortable in her presence and wants to learn and looks forward to the lessons.

Vidya also knows the curriculum very well and has often taught concepts to my daughter before they come up in class so my daughter is always on the front foot.

The focus over the past few months has been English and writing skills but because they are very important skills to master and cuts across so many topics I am happy with the being the focus, however if you ever want Vidya to focus on anything else, for example revision or preparation for an exam she is very flexible and will change her lesson plan to accommodate.

I would highly recommend Vidya for tutoring and my daughter and I look forward to working with her in the future.
