I am an active teacher currently teaching chemistry, physics and biology to GCSE and IGCSE syllabus. I am familiar with the IGCSE Edexcel, AQA, OCR syllabus. I worked at leading independent schools in London.
I enjoy working with pupils, enabling them to become confident science learners.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching science to KS4 for over 16 years and AS/A2 level Chemistry for 3 years. Teaching and tutoring SEN pupils. I worked in Sir William Perkins School, Chertsea. St. Nicolas School, Fleet. Notre Dame, Cobham. Latimer Upper, Hammersmith, Sir William perkins, leading Girls independent school in Chertsea.
In addition I worked for 4 years in the independent school environment. in addition I have 2 years experience of teaching at an independent preparatory school in preparation for 11+ and 13 + exams.

Tutoring Approach

in my practice I assess pupil's needs by contineously testing their knowledge of each topic to find out and improve on any gaps within the curriculum.
My aim is enanable students to gain the confidence in answering test /exam questions.

I have access to previous test papers and test questions and use these in my lessons to support learning in each lesson. We will also practice the most effective revision techniques.
