I am a subject specialist in mathematics and experienced in teaching students aged 11 - 17 ranging from fundamentals/ foundation up to high ability/ level 2 further mathematics.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching methods vary and are tailored to the needs of my students. I break down the mathematical concepts and aid students to achieve confidence and independence by providing scaffolding when necessary. Retrieval is key to my teaching practice to ensure previously taught topics are revisited and consolidated. My primary aim is to ensure students enjoy maths and are able to maximise their potential. I have received excellent feedback thus far, students have found my teaching approach to be enjoyable and engaging.
