I am a MSc Finance Student at the University of Bath who has a natural enthusiasm for teaching. Not only have I jumped at every opportunity to get involved in mentoring and tutoring, I have received amazing reviews of those that I have taught.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring A-Level Economics students, during which I supported their understanding of not, only also calculations and graphical components, but also exam preparation. I have also had prior experience tutoring Mathematics, helping students strengthen their confidence and speed in problem solving. During university, I have also had experience as a Peer Assistant Learning Leader, transferring these teaching skills at a university level in economics.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is focused on adaptability. Every student learns in different ways, especially in such mathematically intense subjects. I pride myself on how I can tell stories, bring mathematical and economic concepts down to a personal level, and create acronyms as memory techniques. My overall goal is not to cram information into students mind, but to allow them to understand concepts, allowing adaptability and creativity in answers.
