I have a passion for Maths, in particular making topics that students find challenging more accessible.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in a secondary school since 2019 as a Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Maths. This involves offering bespoke one to one support and running small group interventions alongside the mainstream lessons. I work with students from year 7 up to GCSE supporting students with foundation Maths.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to assess my students to discover their knowledge gaps and then try to discover which approach best meets their particular method of working. As I support a wide range of specialist need I have found that there are many ways to offer support and it is important to discover which of these is the best fit.
