Russell Group university award winner in business. I am getting into teaching to bring insight to students based on my primary career achievement where I won a prize on a flagship undergraduate Business Management programme at Newcastle University for coming top of my year of around 100 people, gained whilst coping with the stress of my mother battling cancer; I also have a Master's degree in Management Research with a significant volume of scientific output. My professional experience spans market entry consulting in Shanghai, working for a world-leading investment bank and a current five years in the Premiership football industry (being pestered by Peter Crouch for the most part).
I am new to teaching though I mentor junior members of staff in my current role in the Premier League.
I look to form a mentoring relationship where I can identify the development needs of the student, be they studying a commercial subject or operating in a business role, in a way where the person blends in to my own extensive network. I believe that the person cannot help but pick up new ways of operating based on my extensive knowledge of management, philosophy and research methods.
