I am an experienced and passionate Philosophy Teacher (University of Edinburgh & private teaching).
My aim is to help my students reach their full academic potential by making the discussion of Philosophical concepts understandable and fascinating.
I hold a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh.
I have a 9-year experience as a university lecturer (and essay-exam marker), one-to-one tutor for IB, (Advanced) Higher, A-levels, and University level students.
From 2008 I have taught (in the University of Edinburgh and privately) a wide range of philosophical topics aimed for undergraduates and postgraduates.
Areas of specialization: Ethics, Epistemology, Philosophy of Religion, Ancient Philosophy (Plato, Aristotle), Mind, Metaphysics, Modern Philosophy, Descartes, Hume, Kant.
For my teaching work I have been nominated by Edinburgh University Student Association (EUSA) as "Tutor and Lecturer of the Year".
From planning an essay or dissertation to preparing a student for finals or university exams I invite my students to a fascinating and in-depth exploration of the philosophical arguments at stake.
My teaching style is a mixture of leading the discussion by explaining difficult concepts and interactive learning through simple Q&A.
