My name is Thiébault. I come from the North-East of France but I have lived in the UK for the last 7 years. I am very enthusiastic about languages and love to share my cultural experience as well as my knowledge of French.
I am currently a qualified French teacher in a Secondary School based in Sittingbourne. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to teach French for different purposes. I have experience in teaching French in a primary School to a group of children and also on a one to one level. I have also a good understanding of the GCSE and A-level exam demands. Also, I have experience in teaching French to fit the demands of my student's need, for instance, I taught a previous student the French used in a business environment or I taught two of my previous students the skills needed for their new life as retired people living in France.
From 2018 = French teacher in Secondary School.
2017-2018 = PGCE course.
2014 - 2017 = Part time French teacher, part time French assistant in King's School Canterbury.
2013 - 2014 = private tutoring and working for a language teaching company.
I believe teaching and learning should be fun, that is why I use a lot of different resources and teaching strategies in order to make the learning less abstract (use of games, role play...). I can also adapt to the need of my student, for instance in the past I had a person who preferred the grammar learning style.
