I am 18 years old and have been accepted to St Andrews University to study Physics and Philosophy. I love both Maths and Physics and consistently got A’s in these subjects throughout school.
I have tutored two children in my village for Maths. The first was 14 years old and was very mathematically able, but had missed a lot of school due to illness and needed help catching up. The second was 15 years old and was very reluctant to learn maths.
I like to focus on fundamental knowledge and understanding rather than only teaching the procedure, as I find this makes it much easier to solve problems quickly.
