I have been part of the teaching team at the top schools in the county- UK's second largest Business, Accounting and Economics department for 13 years, HOD at the Beauchamp College, Oadby and now I’m Senior Leader at a top independent school foundation in Loughborough. With this varied experience in top performing schools, I have been able to teach students with a very wide range of abilities and needs.
I am an Assistant Examiner for the Edexcel, AQA and Eduqas exam boards allowing me to fully appreciate what examiners are looking for and how they award marks.
As well as this I am a speaker at the Tutor2u National Revision Conferences for A level Business for improving student engagement. I have also presented on their "The Best Business Lesson Ever'
I'm a specialist in my subject with a proven track record of outstanding results. I have a higher degree and PGCE qualification from the Institute of Education, London; Above all I am passionate and enthusiastic my subject and my student's achievements.

I have a personality and a sense of humour! but mature, professional and experienced enough to know that without decent exam results your future options are very limited; my teaching style reflects that and as such ofsted graded my observed lessons as “outstanding”

Because I work in a specialist sixth form college I know what is expected by examiners. I am indeed an examiner in my own right. This expertise is of direct help to my students in their classes but also to anyone I tutor privately.

There is a strong emphasis on thorough preparation for examinations. I will set work frequently which I will mark accurately and timely together with constructive written feedback.
