Teresa

A native Spanish speaker who was born and bred in Alicante, Spain and who moved to the UK in 1999 - I have lived in Bicester for more than eight years. I am thus well placed to provide first hand experience of and cultural and historical context to the conversations and exercises that my students undertake when learning Spanish.

Tutoring Experience

I've taught for 6 years in primary schools (Glory Farm, Bure Park, Chesterton and Charlton-on-Otmoor in Oxfordshire and Southfield in Brackley, Northants) and simultaneously provided private tutoring to A level and GCSE students. I also teach children outside of primary schools and adults who vacation regularly and/or wish to emigrate to Spain.

Tutoring Approach

As I have taught both children and adults of all ages and for all reasons, I adapt my lessons to students needs and learning style - be it more formal for exam work or informal either for those wanting conversational Spanish or games and songs for very young children. I ensure that learning is a pleasure and not a chore!
