Teaching is more than a vocation for me, it has been my life. I began teaching Drama at a Secondary School (East Barnet) in 1990 and then spent five years teaching Theatre and Media Drama at The University of South Wales. Since then, I have taught English and Drama at both F.E. College as Head of English at Weston College and at Secondary School as Head of English and Drama.
My experience spans the whole educational world from Secondary through to university. In addition to running departments, I love creating resources, schemes of learning and marking GCSE examinations in English Language and Literature. The greatest pleasure I get is from enhancing and supporting learners to improve their outcomes.
I am student centred and work out from their starting points the best way to improve their abilities and skills to achieve excellence.
