I am an experienced Computer Science teacher in an inner London school and have been working as a Subject Head for past 5 years. My school is a comprehensive state school and is praised for its inclusive nature. I teach KS3 , KS4 and KS5 students. I have been teaching OCR courses but would be comfortable teaching other exam boards too.
I am part of bourough-wide Computer Science teacher network and have wealth of experience teaching students of all abilities and backgrounds. I have accumulated a great range of resourses too over the years.
I can also tutor students looking to enhance their coding skills. This is suitable for those students studying Computer Science at A level with doing GCSE CS.
I would prefer tutoring online, during weekday evenings and weekends (depending on my availability), this depends on my workload and other work related commitments such as parents evening, meetings and trainings. I would consider some in-person turoring locally.
I am looking at tutoring only a small number of students so please contact me to check for availability.
I have been teaching Computer Science in inner London secondary schools for 10 years. I am currently the Head of Subject in my school. Even though I teach OCR courses, I can teach cirriculum from other exam boards.
Experience in coding.
Student centred and combination of theory and practical, in line with current exam structures. I encourage students to read beyond what the curriculum is asking for.
