I am a banker, full time mother and the eldest sibling who guided my younger brother to 14A*'s and 6A's at GCSE/IGCSE and A*A*Aa at A level.

In order to best teach my student, I adapt my teaching style to best meet their needs and the way they want to learn. While some students learn best by going through the textbook, others learn better by being taught with illustrations. There are many different styles of teaching and my 10 years of experience in tutoring has allowed me to master these teaching styles for different students.

I know what it is like for parents who don't know much about tuition or the UK education system and I am more than happy to help with advising further about this. As the eldest child to parents who do not speak English, I had to work hard in order to make something out of myself and guide my younger brother towards a good education. Thankfully my own experiences allowed me to help my brother achieve one of the most decorated profiles in the whole UK.

From the start of your lessons with me, if you wish, we can formulate a plan, which, if followed, will put you on track to achieving top grades for all your subjects.

My main focus is younger students as I want to build a rapport and help their development throughout. I believe in creating the best foundation for students upon which we can build a lot of knowledge. Sadly, too many students lack this strong foundation from early on and that is why they struggle later on in their education.

I have tutored many students, helping them with their development through their education. The best of my students are those who have a good foundation and this is why I focus on taking on younger students and helping them throughout the years.

Tutoring Approach

I am happy to adapt any teaching style that the student feels comfortable. This can be anything from the student asking me questions, explaining difficult topics or we can go through the whole specification over several lessons.
