Hi everyone, I've just finished A-Level exams and am keen to continue with my enjoyment of Maths/Science by now teaching it to others. As I am young myself and have completed exams so recently, I have a very thorough and up-to-date understanding of the GCSE Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and KS3 syllabus as well as the ability to teach using modern, simpler methods that can hopefully help students very well. I am predicted at an A* level for Mathematics and hold university offers for Masters' Courses for both Computer Science and also for Engineering at the prestigious Russell Group Universities of Birmingham and Bristol effectively. I have also always had a special interest in teaching others and the unique skills that it helps to nurture, and am very keen to continue studying and teaching well past my A-Levels.

Tutoring Experience

I have previously tutored Maths at both KS3 and GCSE levels privately in a similar online 1-to-1 manner and successfully been able to improve the scores of majority of my students, many of which struggled especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This experience has been vital in showing me the simplest, most effective ways I can explain complex concepts to someone for the first time. Since then I have expanded my lessons to include the sciences up to and including GCSE level.

Tutoring Approach

I firmly believe every student learns differently and has their own strengths and weaknesses. However, it is always a good idea to continuously practise questions, both in the lesson and out of it. Doing a little practise on a frequent basis has always been hugely beneficial across my own experience, and those I have tutor. Therefore I generally ensure any student will fully understand a concept within the lesson, whilst they consolidate this understanding both within and outside of the lesson.
