An economics post graduate from UCL who currently teaches economics in a selective sixth form college with an above 75% A*-A grade record and 41 offers to Oxbridge for the 2019/2020 academic year. I aim to instil my passion for economics and business studies in students while preparing them for the very important exams looking at both the the content and the exams practice. having been exposed to economics since the age of 16, I have developed not just an enormous knowledge of the subject, but helped in familiarising myself with different exams boards and developing a great understanding of what examiners seek for if students are to achieve the top level marks
I am a fully qualified economics teacher who obtained his Qualified teacher status (QTS) from the Institute of Education (IOE)
This academic year, all my tutees performed well above their targets, an achievement that I am particularly happy about.
One to one interactive lessons, a very applied approach with task and activities. My sessions involve filling students' gaps in content knowledge and getting them prepared for those very important exams.
Being a full time teacher makes me a better tutor than many who claims to have had years of experience working in the city ( industry) as these are two different areas where economics is differently applied.
