I’m a qualified and passionate secondary maths tutor, supporting students up to GCSE level. I have a strong academic background with a degree in Chemistry, a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management, and a teaching qualification. My goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and motivated in their maths learning journey.

Tutoring Experience

With several years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of students, each with their own unique challenges and goals. My background in both science and education allows me to bring clarity and structure to even the most challenging topics. I’ve helped students improve their grades, build strong foundations, and develop a more positive attitude toward maths.

Tutoring Approach

I take a highly personalised approach to tutoring. I invest time in understanding each student’s needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. I offer a structured scheme of work that students can follow for a comprehensive, progressive learning experience. However, I’m also flexible—if a student or parent prefers, I’m happy to tutor topic by topic based on what the student is currently learning in school or what I identify as necessary through assessment and observation.

Each session is tailored to suit the individual learner, ensuring they not only understand the material but also feel confident applying it independently.
