We already had 3 sessions so far. Steve is teaching my daughter Chemistry and Physics year 11. Steve is a great tutor. He is very experienced, kind, knowledgeable, engaging, understands immediately what the question and what the need is, polite, summarizes well, explains in detail with clarity, goes over the syllabus and more and my daughter understood perfectly.
We have found a tutor who is going to take her through the IGSCE and all the way to A Levels.

I very enjoy working with Steve, as his points and explanations are very understandable, making my lessons enjoyable. Steve is also easy to talk to, making asking questions to him not a hassle at all.

My son is very happy with the support, explanations and guidance given. Would highly recommend.

Excellent first session. Steve is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable and has already inspired our son to want to know more! We are sure Steve will help our son achieve excellent results in his GCSE and then A'level maths.

Steve has been a tremendous help to our son, Jack. He explains concepts clearly, is extremely patient, and he is very accommodating. He has a gentle, professional manner which is very conducive to learning. He is happy to let the student request what is taught, but he is excellent at recapping on the previous session, so that information is retained. Already we can see an improvement in Jack's confidence in his Physics, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Steve to other students.

Steve is proving a great help and makes things very logical and understandable, not an easy task for chemistry. He is accomodating with times and lesson length which is helpful too.

Hi Steve, both Matt and I are very happy with how his sessions are working out. I think he still finds maths the toughest of his A levels but his teachers seem pleased with his progress. He needs to achieve a B to get into the university he wants, do you think that is achievable?

Steve has delivered everything that I could expect and I am still using him. I am very pleased.

Steve has been helping my daughter with A level Physics and Chemistry and has been brilliant.

Steve has helped Will to understand and work with various Maths formulae by explaining them clearly and simply. He is very patient and encouraging and I'm sure will have a very positive impact on Will's GCSE results.

After 2 lessons Jenny said "If I had Steve as my teacher from the beginning I wouldn't be doing retakes and I'd be getting A*s ! "

He is excellent at explaining things and Jenny is really enjoying her tutor sessions as well as learning so much.

Update August 2011. A level results day. Jenny achieved her aim of raising her Chemistry grade from a predicted C to a good B.( in about 10 weeks of tutoring) She has been accepted at Exeter University and is absolutely delighted. Without Steve's help this would not have been possible.
Jenny had regular sessions online using Skype backed up by 2 hour face to face visits when possible, this worked extremely well and Jenny found the online tutoring easy to cope with.

It was money very well spent and I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone considering tuition - especially for A level Chemistry.
