I work as the Assistant Head of Mathematics in Oldbury Wells School, Bridgnorth. Previously I have worked as Head of Mathematics and Church Stretton School; Second in Department in William Brookes School, Much Wenlock; and worked at Abraham Darby as a teacher of mathematics.
I have taught various KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) classes, ranging from bottom to top sets. I can confidently plan and personalise my lessons to suit a variety of abilities and needs.
My primary goals of tutoring are to instil a sense of confidence in mathematics in my students and to provide challenging material that will develop a higher level of mathematical understanding, with the ultimate goal of achieving better GCSE results.
I tutor students privately in GCSE maths, for students of all abilities. I assess each student's prior mathematical skills and teach them according to an agreed personalised learning/revision schedule.
