I hold a PhD in Interdisciplinary Mathematics and Complexity (University of Warwick), an MSc in Mathematical Finance, an MSc in Applied Mathematics (Imperial College London), and a BSc in Physics with specialisation in Theoretical Physics (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece).
I have more than 13 years experience of teaching Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanics and Physics at secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level. I have been employed as a Teaching Fellow and as an Associate Lecturer from different institutions across the UK such as the University of Warwick, the Glasgow University, the University of St Andrews and the Open University. I have also been employed as an IB Teacher of mathematics. I have delivered more than 2,000 hours of private tuition covering different syllabi (GCSEs, A-levels, Nat 5s, Highers, Advanced Highers, IB, SATs etc).
My teaching approach is simple. A student needs to understand the material delivered rather than 'learn' it. Thus, I emphasise on explaining the different concepts, always adjusting my methods on the needs of each different student.
