My name is Sophie Wakefield and I currently in my final year at Oxford studying Law. I am confident tutoring Maths, English and Science up to GCSE level. I am also happy to help with Oxbridge law admissions. I achieved an A* in Maths, English and Triple Science at GCSE Level as well as an A* at Maths A Level. Tutoring Experience

I have previously tutored at GCSE level as well as mentored a number of students at school.

Tutoring Approach

Maths and Science lessons will be focussed on identifying simple and clear methods for exam use and will involve both step by step guides to questions as well as practice exams and papers. English Literature lessons will focus on the major themes and characters of each text, through both discussion, annotation and brainstorming. This will then culminate in working through essay prep and practice. English Language will cover approaches to analysing fiction and non-fiction, paragraph and essay structuring as well as tips for creative and persuasive writing.
