I am a fully qualified teacher - EYFS & KS1, currently working as a Reception teacher. I have a degree in Sociology with Business Law and I have completed a PGCE at the Institute of Education. I am responsible, hardworking and I put all of my effort into everything that I do. As a teacher I understand that the learning process can be challenging for some children, and I would like to become a tutor to offer my support where possible. Learning should be enjoyable, and children learn best when they are provided with the skills and resources that guide them to strive independently. I aim to offer support and encouragement to all children, and inspire them to work hard and succeed both inside and outside of school :)
I have worked with children and young adults for a number of years, and I have tutored for children under the age of 7. My passion lies within the Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS), however I am also trained to teach within KS1 and I have experience working within a Year 1 setting. I also have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), which has helped me to understand and adapt to the needs of different children.
I have been tutoring for the past four years, and I like to ensure that I build a good relationship with the families that I work with. I make my lessons enjoyable, and I always make sure that the children are making progress.
