I have taught language and literature courses at Durham University and Newcastle University, on topics including but not limited to Ovid, Virgil, Seneca, Sallust, prose composition. I have also taught seminars for core modules at Durham University, and so am able to guide students on the skills required to succeed at university.
My teaching approach is person-centred. My focus is on building student confidence with positive reinforcement. I am adept at adapting my teaching style to different students and communicating complex ideas in clear ways.
