Sophie

Hello!

My name is Sophie, and I am currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Bristol. I have just completed an intercalated year, receiving a first class bachelors degree in Clinical Sciences. I have also completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths - with A's and A*'s.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring my younger brother in maths, biology and chemistry to GCSE level. I have also helped other medical students at University to understand topics in a shared learning environment.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching involves getting an understanding of where the student is at and tailoring lessons to them and areas they may be struggling with. I am able to explain topics in a way that is suited to the individual and take things as slowly or quickly as required. Practice is a great way to learn, so going through exam papers and how to improve answers would be a key part of lessons.
