I am a postgraduate with over five years of tutoring experience, specialising in KS3, 11+, and GCSE preparation. I also have experience working with children who have special needs and learning difficulties. Having gone through the 11+ process myself, I am committed to helping all my students succeed and pass their tests with flying colours!
My educational and professional background includes expertise in mathematics, English language/literature, and humanities.
I have experience tutoring children in the care of local authorities and those with SEND, gaining valuable experience in addressing a range of learning difficulties and managing safeguarding concerns with professionalism.
I tailor my teaching approach to the unique needs of each student, drawing on concepts from educational psychology, including the VARK model, to accommodate various learning styles.
With experience working with students with special needs and learning difficulties, I am also skilled at identifying and addressing behaviours that may impact learning.
My method involves reviewing key topics to identify areas where students require additional support. I focus on these areas, using targeted practice and reinforcement until the student not only improves but excels.
I genuinely care about children, particularly their education, and I am committed to going above and beyond to ensure they achieve excellent grades.
