Hi there! I'm Skylar, she/her pronouns and currently living in Stockholm, Sweden.
My main passions are Foreign Languages, Cosplay, Anime & Video Games. I also love to travel when I'm able to do so and incorporate my interests in my work including examples and observations to use as larger scale projects or case studies of Maths in the real world.

Tutoring Experience

Having got my PGCE in the UK, I worked as a teacher at an English School in Stockholm from 2019 to 2021. I am currently a Supply Teacher at Stockholm International School and also doing part time studies with a focus on Professional Development and my own interests.

I have previously done work experience at schools in the UK as part of my PGCE year as well as my final year of my Degree for Career Development and my pre-University education is entirely UK based.

Tutoring Approach

If you're in need of some last-minute tutoring before exams, I'm able to help you out!

I offered live-streamed lessons to my students during the Covid pandemic so online learning is one of my educational specialisms.
I use an iPad as a "Whiteboard" to show all of my work and exam style questions to provide what an examiner expects and some clear working to match. In addition to this, I also use interactive animations and graphing tools to help visualise more of the Geometry side of things. Through exploration, this can help students be more familirised with concepts!

After every lesson, I always provide these slides to the student so they can use these as extra study material and can also offer questions to do in their own time to review in the following sessions if preparing for a particular assessment or exam.
