My name is Sian I am 41 and have I have been a qualified teacher for 20 years. I have experience of working with children from 3 to 11. From the age of 11, I knew I wanted to teach and I love getting up for work every morning, no two days are ever the same! I love the feeling that I can make a difference to a child by giving them exciting experiences which help them progress with their learning. I have a very creative approach to teaching and tailor learning to each child's individual needs. I quickly form good relationships with the children in my class.
I qualified in July 2004 and have just competed by 19th year of teaching. I have experience of teaching children aged 3 to 11. I have done supply work all over Sefton when I graduated before moving to Manchester to undertake a full time job for 3 years in Earpy Years. I moved back to Liverpool and took a job in Warrington in 2010, I was there for 4 years. I currently teach Year 1 at a school in Southport and I am Key Stage 1 lead. I have been at my current school for 9 and half years.
Every child is unique and therefore deserves lessons that are tailored towards their individual needs. I believe that all children should feel a sense of acheivement at the end of each lesson as well as being challenged throughout at the same time. Lessons should be fun and enjoyable and practical.
I have a relaxed approach and I want your child to be comfortable throughout the sessions and feel able to ask any questions they may have. Ultimately I want you child to make excellent progress and grow in confidence.
