I am a mother of 3 teenagers and married to an army officer. We move around a lot with the military and we have lived there in 13 different houses. I love swimming and netball (and coach both). I also like making fresh pizzas and baking chocolate brownies for our family movie nights.
I have been teaching for 25 years and have done so all over the country. This has given me an insight into all styles of learning and a huge variety of ideas and best practice. I have taught in both private and state schools. I have developed great online teaching skills as lockdown helped me use digital resources to the max!
I am an enthusiastic communicator who also loves the multi-sensory approach to learning. This can also be done well online with some creative thinking. Every student is different and I strive to match my teaching to their individual learning style. My pupils have always said that they enjoy my lessons and fun is an integral part of any lesson.
