Hi, I am a french exchange student. I graduated last year from a double undergraduate degree in Law and Language studies at the Grenoble Alpes University in France. Now I am studying for a Masters in International Law and cybersecurity at UEA (University of East Anglia). As a candidate for a tutoring job, I am a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for languages and law.
I am fluent in Kurdish, my mother tongue, and have achieved C2 level in French, C1 level in English certified by IELTS with an overall score of 7.5, and C1 level in Spanish certified by my undergraduate degree in language studies and translation. I am currently a first-year exchange student pursuing a Masters in International Law with a focus on internet law and the British criminal process. As a member of the Law and Kurdish Society, I stay committed to promoting diversity and cultural exchange within the academic community. I also occasionally volunteer at the law clinic, providing legal assistance to those in need. In addition, I was elected as a student member of the board of administrators at the Grenoble Alpes CROUS and served as the Head of the Grenoble Arab Student Union, demonstrating my leadership skills and commitment to community involvement. With my diverse language skills, academic achievements, and extracurricular experiences, I am confident that I would make a highly effective and engaging tutor.
I have two years of experience as an English tutor for high school students back in France for the AFEV association (Association of the Student Foundation for the City).
Each tutoring session is personalized and tailored to the individual needs of the student. During the first session, I assess the strengths and weaknesses of the student in order to establish the right approach and strategies. As a student myself, I have a flexible schedule and I am willing to adapt to different hours to accommodate my students. Additionally, as a law student, I can provide in-depth knowledge of the language with a focus on legal vocabulary and offer tips on how to excel in the language.
