Sharon is an excellent communicator. We have only done a couple of mini sessions but I can already tell she is definitely going to help my daughter. She has made here feel at ease and understand she knows more than she thinks it’s confidence building.

Sharon has a friendly but professional approach and my son is now enjoying his maths again. He feels that he can ask questions at any point if he doesn't understand something and in only a few sessions he has greatly improved his understanding of the subject. Although the sessions are structured to his area of need, they will go through any area that he has not fully understood from the lessons that week at school. Very pleased with his progress.

Sharon has worked with my son throughout the summer holidays to prepare him for moving up a set in maths when he returns in year 10. Sharon has a very structured approach to assessing capability, setting the teaching at the correct pace and conveying methods and understanding. Lessons are efficient and productive and progress is quick. This is exactly what I was looking for; someone with proven teaching experience rather than just an understanding of maths topics. My son has enjoyed it and has grasped each concept quickly that Sharon has conveyed. I would definitely recommend Sharon's service.

Sharon identifies weak areas and then works on them which develops confidence and positive thinking in her pupil. She also tries to understand how her pupil is thinking when solving maths so she can identify where the errors are being made, enabling her to correct and/or reprogramme how her pupil approaches and deals with mathematical problems… Sharon has good communication skills with her pupil, giving praise which adds and assists with confidence building in her pupil . Confidence is essential when studying maths.

Highly recommend Sharon for personal Maths tuition !!

My 16 year old daughter needed to re-take her GCSE Maths and secure a level 4, she took this exam in November 2017 and we have just had the results (January 18) it's with many thanks to Sharon that she has passed. Sharon was very supportive of my daughter who gets very anxious when considering Maths. Sharon provided excellent one to one tutoring as well as home study work for my daughter to complete in between each lesson. I would highly recommend Sharon who increased my daughter's knowledge and confidence in a subject that she has always felt anxious about and always lacked self belief. Now she can continue with her dreams of "A" levels and university. Thanks so much Sharon.
