I help and encourage my students to have a global mind, curiosity to learn, share with them real experiences about the business world and help them get good grades that will help them achieve their goals in life. I was born in Spain in 1982 and travelled to the UK in 2013. I got married here and have two children. I was always a curious person, and I like to learn about other cultures. I have been to South Africa, Morocco, Dubai, Spain and England.
After 20 years running businesses successfully for different companies and training hundreds of people, I decided to move on to my other vocation, teaching. I taught at Milton Keynes College (ages of 18 and 21), Oakhill STC (ages 13-18) and at Peopleplus. I believe that everyone deserves a good education and the opportunity to live. I am teaching business, employability skills, and Spanish. I graduated with BSc(Hons) Business and Hospitality Management from Anglia Ruskin University as the best student from my course. Also I am PGCert in Education and Leadership Management at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. I got certificates in SEO management, employability Skills, Leadership, health and safety.
Each student learns differently; some learn by watching, others learn by doing it themselves, and others learn by listening. I like to understand my students and see how they know better. Once identified, I adapt my methods to their needs.
During my business lessons, I like to introduce real examples from my 20 years in business, preparing them to face the exam and real-life scenarios. The experience gives confidence to young students who will face their first job interview. My certificate in business skills from Anglia Ruskin University prepared me to teach the latest techniques used by employers to choose the right candidate. I teach my students how to create a good cover letter, CV, and interview scenario. During my Spanish lesson, I emphasize teaching elocution. Elocution is the study of formal speaking in pronunciation, grammar, style, tone, and the idea and practice of practical speech and its forms. It stems from the idea that while communication is symbolic, sounds are final and compelling.
